This is for my best friend, my partner and bandmate. Trevor, the tall goofy punk who means so much to a lot of us. Trevor has been diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer as of january 9th 2026. We share this information in hopes of mutual aid and support. This already a very sensitive and fragile subject, trevor allowing me to share this publicly is very hard to do.

As of January 12th trevor went into rushed surgery for the removal of his testicle. This is where the cancer was found and identified we cutt a music mini tour run early and drove 8 hours home from richmond , Virginia Friday the 9th to follow up with a doctor with what we thought was a little lump that grew to be a very agressive type of cancer.

This all happened extremly quickly and has not stopped for a moment. Though testicular cancer has a high survival rate with treatment, trevor has a rare genetic disease we dont talk about very much. Trevor has Marfans Sydrome its what makes him tall thin and so outrageusly handsome! :p

this is causing every step of the treatment to be more dangerous putting him at high risk even under going something as simple as anesthesia. He has confirmed dialation which means his aeortic heart valve is bieng closely monitored for eventual replacement. any cardiovasculor stressors like high blood pressure, anesthesia, or chemo therapy can accelerate the small window of time we have before open heart surgery.

With all this said we come to you our friends, community, and family for assistance in making this time a little easier for trevor.

As we await the diagnosis of the stage of cancer trevor is in, we are going to find out tomorrow at oncology on January 28th (happy birthday to me). We have both been on a leave of absence at work for just about 2 weeks. We have yet to recieve any payment from disability, which even then will inly be 50% if our regualar estimated wages. Trevor will be out of work with at minimal one round of chemo therapy confirmed in the next few days. Even with the immidiate removal of his testicle the cancer bieng aggressive has been confirmed to have spread and invaded see image below.

We are greatful to be able to confirm no spread to his brain and are awaiting results of a CT scan done yesterday january 26th to see if its anywhere else in his body. Though we are insured through work the system sucks and it still had a ton of out of pocket costs, co pays, and expenses from taking time off.

Currently were in need if help with rent, the upcoming second payment of the initial urgent care visit, and to prepare for trevor to stay home during chemo therapy.

As the bills roll in we will update here I have been researching and talking with insurance to estimate our costs coming up with chemo and heart monitoring. A round of chemo does not mean going once, it means a block of treatment which can come to anywhere between 5k- 12k with insurance.
