TREVOR STRONG

Donation protected
On Friday, July 18th, Trevor Campbell was found unresponsive in a pool during a shared bachelor-bachelorette stay at a vacation home in Seward. What was supposed to be a fun-filled night with friends, family, and his fiancée Hannah Satterly turned into tragedy. Trevor and Hannah were looking forward to their wedding on August 2nd, just a couple weeks away. Angels both physical and spiritual were present that night, assisting in rescuing Trevor. He was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, where it was discovered that Trevor had broken his C6 vertebrae and was put on life support.

If you know Trevor, you know he is strong and determined. He woke up and immediately showed us he was still the same Trevor we all know and love by cracking jokes, teasing, and trying to get ready for work. Trevor recently started working as a lineman for the city of Red Cloud. The most difficult part of this tragedy is that, as of now, surgery and tests indicate Trevor is unable to move from the waist down. There are a lot of questions, and only time will tell what his future will look like. Everyone truly believes that if anyone can be resilient and conquer each obstacle, it’s Trevor.

We are asking for prayers and support for Trevor and Hannah as they face a long road ahead. Hannah is handling this with grace and unwavering love. She is thankful that Trevor is here and that he is still the same person she fell in love with in middle school. Thankfully, recent tests show no brain damage. Both are unable to work at this time, and Trevor will likely have weeks and months of therapy ahead. As strong and active as he is, he is struggling with this new reality. The wedding is postponed until Trevor and Hannah are ready. These two sweethearts recently bought a home but were waiting to move in together until after the wedding. Hannah just passed her boards to be an occupational therapy assistant. Both are 20 years old, and this is something no one could have prepared for. But God has a plan, and we trust that each day will bring tiny successes. Family and friends are reaching out to ask for donations. Whatever you can give will help them with this costly and unexpected journey ahead.
