Trevor Project Community Fundraiser

Hi, we are Lucia Rada, Eva Caron, and Natalia Lewis, and we are 8th graders at Silver Spring International Middle School. We are doing a community project and have chosen to support the Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is a fund that helps the young LGBTQ+ community with the challenges that they face. I’m sure you know that they are bullied, threatened, and assaulted, but that’s just a little bit of what’s going on. Did you know that 1 out of 3 LGBTQ+ have been bullied or harassed because of their gender or sexual orientation? Every dollar that you donate gives one LGBTQ+ teen in need one minute of therapeutic help. The Trevor Project has a chat, a text group, and a hotline if anyone needs to reach out for someone to talk to. Thank you so much, your donations are appreciated!
