Trevor Melton

Trevor has always been willing to help people - whether with work on cars, moving, or anything in between.

He lost all of his eyesight in his right eye in 2000 due to his retinas hemorrhaging and most of his vision in his left eye in 2002. He has been legally blind since. While this has been a struggle, he always kept a positive attitude and continued to work when and where he could.

In June 2022, Trevor received more bad news. He was diagnosed with Stage II B Non-Small-Cell lung cancer. So far, he has undergone surgery four times, completed three cycles of chemotherapy, been on a ventilator for eight days, undergone 15 radiation treatments, and attended cardiopulmonary rehab when his health is stable enough. He has specific dietary and hygienic needs that have caused some financial impacts. On top of all of this, his cars have required several repairs.

We are raising money to help with these extra incurred costs as Trevor has additional costs outside his medical expenses and is not well enough to bring in the extra income like he was before his diagnosis. Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated.
