Hi, my name is Lynda Prokosh. I am starting this go fund me page for Trevor, my son in law.

Trevor came into our family and has been an amazing positive force.

Trevor's journey has been one of resilience, and unwavering dedication to his family, work, and community.

A lively and healthy man, Trevor has always been passionate about hockey and fitness, and healthy food.

His life revolves around his beloved kids Ethan, Holden, Ella, step children Ryder, Adaira, and his billet, Jordan.

At work, Trevor is known for his commitment to improving the wellbeing of his colleagues and creating a better environment for everyone.

In June of 2023, life took an unexpected turn when Trevor was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He faced this challenge head-on enduring 30 days of radiation and nearly eight months of chemotherapy. After completing these treatments, and being cancer free, Trevor underwent his first surgery, which required him to take a month off work. Despite the challenges, he embraced his new reality with positivity, looking forward to a reverse ileostomy surgery within six months.

Unfortunately, delays extended this timeline to 11 months.

In early February 2025 after finally undergoing the reversal surgery and beginning recovery at home, Trevor's health took a sudden downturn.

On February 18, 2025, Trevor experienced severe pain and fever. A CT scan revealed a perforated colon and sepsis. This led to another emergency surgery involving a surgery for sepsis and the placement of a new ostomy.

The recovery this time is even more challenging due to a larger abdominal incisions and intense pain managed through an epidural and IV medication.

Trevor now faces weeks in the hospital and an extended recovery at home. He has been unable to work for four weeks already and will likely need much more time off.

To help cover medical expenses and daily bills during this difficult period, we are turning to our community for support.
