Trevor Latimer Memorial Fund
Donation protected
We are devastated to say that on Saturday 12th November we said goodbye to our kind, generous, intelligent, funny and loving Dad/Daideo (and Mo’s darling husband) Trevor. He gave the best hugs, advice and breakfasts. There is a huge hole in our lives where our bonnie lad should be but he will be forever in our hearts and loving memories. He bounced back from brain surgery in June with the same valour that he overcame other obstacles in his 69 years. Sadly, Glioblastoma, an extremely agressive brain cancer, took him from us after only 5 short months. He is now resting in paradise, hopefully with sand between his toes, the sun on his face, and the sound of waves and Radio 4 in the background.
In lieu of funeral flowers, we would like to raise money for the Lincolnshire Community Health Services Palliative Nurses Charitable Fund. The specislist team, in collaboration with other providers including Macmillan and St Barnabas Hospice, provides a 24/7 Palliative Single Point of Access service for patients, families and carers. This service was invaluable to us when Trevor received his terminal diagnosis. Carol Gent, Trevor’s palliative care nurse, was wonderful, as were the nurses that we spoke to on the helpline and the physio and OT from St Barnabas.
Thank you for your donation, it means so much to us. Love from, Mo, Melanie and Emma xxx
