Dear family and friends of Trevor Horner,
As you may have heard by now, Trev fell 35 ft off a roof onto pavement at the beginning of February while he was working. He was picked up in an ambulance and is currently at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO.
His injuries are:
-right Tibia/Fibula open fracture (leg/ankle)
-left Tibial Plateau compression fracture (knee)
-left calcaneus shattered (heel)
-pelvis fracture
-left radius and ulna open fracture (arm)
-left wrist compression fractures
-eye socket fracture
-cheek bone fracture
-front tooth chipped (dental work needed)
These are just what we know about so far. He's having ongoing surgeries on all major injuries.
We wont know about other ligament damage or minor injuries until more testing is done through his rehabilitation. He will be in a wheelchair for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Trevor wont receive any workers compensation because of his independent contractor status. In the weight of the situation, there will be a lot of expenses, and Trevor's life has financially changed dramatically. It's looking like a total of 6 surgeries so far, and maybe more to come later. After he's done at Good Samaritan, he will be moved to a rehab facility where he will continue his recovery with the hope to come home as soon as possible!
Trevor needs our help! Any donation makes the difference. If you prefer, you can Venmo him directly at @trevorhorner with the caption 'Medical Help' or something of the sorts.
If you are looking for other ways to help we will be setting up a meal list for him. If you'd like information on the meal train please send an email to his sister, Bailey ([email redacted]).
If you have ever been around Trev, your life has been impacted by his kindness and authenticity. He is staying positive through all of this, but he is in pain and has a long road of recovery ahead. So even if you can't donate, pray for this guy!
"When I am afraid, I put my trust in you."
