Trevor Broke Both Arms

Hello! My name is Allyson, and my son, Trevor, recently broke both of his arms in a roller blading incident. We originally only knew about the left arm, as it was very clearly snapped in half.

He underwent one surgery to place large nails lengthwise through both the radius and ulna in the left arm.

Shortly after coming home from the first surgery, we noticed that the right wrist was looking really strange, and he mentioned that it was very painful.

We went back to the hospital for X-rays of the right wrist. Depressingly, his wrist is also broken, and will require at least two surgeries to correct.

This second surgery will be on Monday 4/29/24. Needless to say, this is going to make things very difficult for him (and the rest of the family, we have 3 younger kids as well).

Since both of his arms will be in casts, the doctor has advised us to purchase several accommodations online to help him through the next many months of recovery (a bidet, since he cannot wipe his own butt, etc.). Additionally, either my wife or I will have to remain available for him at all times during this process, which will make it virtually impossible for us to continue bringing in the same amount of income to support our family, hence this fundraiser.

We would love to be able to provide all of these things on our own, but this has come at a very inconvenient time (not that there is a convenient one), so we are humbly asking for help while we navigate this difficult season.
