Trevor Alley

As many of you know by now, a good friend of ours is going through some uncertain times.
Trevor Alley has been a great friend, brother and son to many and it is times like these we need come together as a community to help.
On Saturday, December 18th around 8:00am Trevor's parents recieved a phone call that all parents dread. Trevor was in the Ellsworth emergency room and he was struggling to breath.
By the time Trevor's family got there Trevor had been sedated and they had to put a tube down his throat and hook him up to a ventilator to help him breath.
Once chuck and Denise arrived Trevor was unable to wake up and acknowledge his parents where there with him. At this point they were being told he was being transported to Portland or Boston.
After a while of waiting they transported Trevor to Trenton air port where he was taken by Jet to Portland to be further treated.
Due to covid restrictions chuck, densie, Lindsey and Jesse are unable to be with Trevor but are closely monitoring the phones for when nurses call with updates.
Later that evening once Trevor was settled in Portland they recieved a call that he is still sedated but the ventilator was only working about 40% of the time which is good news, Trevor is doing some of the breathing on his own!
Today.. Sunday, December 19th they recieved an update that they have tried to lower the sedation and take him off the ventilator to see how his body reacts. Unfortunately Trevor's body isn't quite ready for that, as he was still struggling to breath on his own. The nurse said he woke up just long enough to "evil eyeball" them before he went back under.
About a week ago Trevor went to the doctors where they ruled out covid and determined he had bronchitis, they gave him and inhaler in hopes that would help. On Saturday in the Ellsworth ER, they again ruled out covid and believed it was bronchitis that Trevor may have had for a while and the inhaler didn't help. We still are unsure of the situation and what the specialist in Portland will find but as of now we know Trevor is doing okay, just needing lots of love and good thoughts sent his way! I chose this photo, as it is what best describes Trevor, out with his friends play sports and having a good time!

As I find out more from the family I will fo my best to keep this site updated.

We are not asking for a lot, as we know it is during the holidays but we want Trevor to come home and not have to worry about any bills for a little while. He will need time to rest and recuperate.

Anything donated will go directly to Trevor to help pay any expenses he may have, along with what will be a hefty medical bill once this is all said and done!

Thank you to everyone who has been thinking of Trevor and his family.
