My amazing son Treven Tarr was born with a smile on his face, and 99% of the time that smile is still there. Why? Why do terrible things happen to such amazing people? He has just been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. He all of a sudden noticed a large lump on his neck and thought he pulled a muscle. He then went to minor emergency where they took x-rays and sent him straight to the hospital. They took cat scans, MRI scans, and sent him to an oncologist. The oncologist sent him for a biopsy, they told him right away it was cancer. The mass has moved his wind pipe a full inch and it cannot be removed because it is a lymph node. He will be starting chemo soon. The journey has just begun. He has insurance, however they figure the minimum out of pocket will be $20,000. Just his procedure co-pay tomorrow is $5,500. I know this is going to be hard enough emotionally and physically and I don’t want him to worry non stop about coming up with money for his treatment. I just want him to worry about getting well. Treven is such an amazing son, friend, and brother; but the most amazing thing about Treven is his unconditional love for his young son Taz. This is my worst nightmare as a mother, as I’m sure you could imagine. As Treven’s mother I am asking for your help with the financial burden of medical bills if your heart leads you to help. I will keep everyone posted on Treven’s fight Tagainst cancer. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts. It means the world to us.
