Hello, my name Beth. My nan and grandad had their van stolen from outside of their sons home whilst visiting on the 26th April 2022 at 23.35pm. My nan went out at 23:00 to put their clean washing in the van, locked up and went in to watch a film. When returning later on the night to go and find somewhere to stay they found their life and joy had been stolen. This van was self converted by my grandad himself over every single day for 6 months, into a beautiful campervan which they used for traveling and was their home. Everything they owned and everything that meant something to them was in the van. All they have left are the clothes on their backs. As you can all imagine they are absolutely heartbroken. The insurance won’t cover everything that they took from them as prices of the vans alone have risen without adding on the price of converting it into their loving home. They now have no belongings and no home and these people may have thought they were only taking a campervan but in fact they took away their livelihoods and something that meant EVERYTHING to them. No amount of money will replace the precious items they have lost but please help me in raising money for them to be able to get their lives back on track.
