As many of you already know Shanika and her family are going through what no other family should ever have to. Tre has been fighting his battle with leukemia for almost 10 years. He has been on hospice for the last year and although he fought hard, the Lord decided to call him home to rest on March 20, 2022.

 

At the age of eleven, in 2013, Tre was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). “ALL is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow - the spongy tissue inside the bones where blood cells are made…Acute lymphocytic leukemia is the most common type of cancer in children.” (Mayo Clinic)

 

Tre was the most loving, caring, smart, sarcastic, charismatic young man but yet so wise beyond his years. He loved his family, friends, video games, and his Jordan’s.

 

Although there is in an insurance policy in place, I would like to ask anyone who can to please donate whatever they can to help my cousin and her family over the next few weeks and months with whatever additional expenses they might encounter as they will need time off work to process their tragic loss.

 

If financially you are not able to help please pray, pray for my cousin, pray for Tre’s family, pray for peace and comfort, pray that Tre’s legacy will live on through us as we will live the rest of our lives.
