Trenton Area Small Business Relief Fund

In light of the recent devastation that has faced our nation, we are truly sorry.  The Latino Merchants Association of NJ has always made a significant point to support all of our surrounding communities, regardless of race, creed and ethnicity.  We know that the underlying racism in this country has finally been re-exposed and unfortunately, innocent Black lives have been lost at the hands of law enforcement among others.  The backlash of years of inequality has affected so many.  We are sad though that that backlash has affected innocent small business owners, black and brown.  

The Latino Merchants Association has represented Latino businesses in the Latino communities in many parts of New Jersey and particularly in Trenton since 2007.  We are heartbroken that of approximately 100 businesses that were hit with looting and rioting and fires on May 31, 2020, approximately 60 were Latino owned businesses.  

We pledge to stand with all of our communities moving forward as we have been doing, but we need all of your help.  Please help to contribute to these businesses who have been affected, who have lose inventory and revenue and who are still unable to reopen their businesses.  These business have families who rely on their small business revenues and while LMA has been busy giving back to the communities in need, this is our time in need.
