Trent Radford’s Road to recovery

Hello,

My name is Gretchen, I am Trent Radford’s sister-in-law. I am starting this Go Fund Me account with his permission and the funds will be going directly to Jami and Trent for medical expenses and to ease their financial burden as Trent will be out of work for several months.

In mid September Trent began to experience numbness and weakness in his arms and legs. This rapidly progressed leading to an inability to walk. He was hospitalized and diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome, an acute debilitating neurological condition that has left him unable to walk or even to even lift his arms. He remains hospitalized undergoing multiple different treatments in attempts to hasten recovery. After his therapies are complete he will require inpatient rehab to learn how to walk again. Jami is still working full-time, trying to be with Trent as much as possible in the hospital and also be now a single parent to their 6 month old daughter.

This fund is intended to proactively assist with what is expected to be extensive medical expenses and support his family with day-to-day expenses until Trent is recovered.

I know the Radford family are loved by so many who want to help and thought this would be the best way if you feel inclined to contribute. Knowing Trent and how independent he is he would never ask for help directly but I am. Information is limited and I want to respect his privacy as much as I’m able at this time; however, being the situation as it is I know the best way we can all assist is with our ability to reduce the financial burden.
