It is with a heavy heart that I pass along to you all that Trelawny Ian McInerney has gone home to be with the Lord. He passed away on September 13, 2015 at 6 pm. Trelawny was a well-respected friend and family man who leaves behind his wife Marife and daughter Jasmine as well as countless family members and friends. Trelawny had nearly a two year long battle with cancer and despite his remarkably positive attitude and constant belief that he would beat it at the end of the day he just could not overcome what he was given to deal with. I was blessed to be able to spend a good amount of time with him during the last two weeks and I was inspired by the fact he was at peace with his sickness and his positive outlook and lack of bitterness and self-pity was one that we should all adopt during the challenging times in our lives. Trelawny was not one who asked why me but rather chose to focus on how very blessed he was during all times of his life. He and I reflected on his childhood, teenage years, adult hood his current and past friends and best of all his family. His love for his wife, Marife, and daughter, Jasmine, was obvious to anyone who spoke to him or saw them in a room together. Denny
