In late February and early March, I will travel to Nepal to trek with a small group of friends to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy service in Nepal. Lauren Brisco (physio colleague), is a long-standing board member of the service and is leading our group for the second time for many of us.

The service recently celebrated the opening of a new facility after many years of work. We will be supporting them to develop resources and provide therapy services to people living with neuromuscular conditions in Nepal. We are hoping to fund some low-cost electric wheelchairs in the centre to enable the service users to trial them and experience independent mobility. We also want to support the purchase of some sporting equipment to create wheelchair sports opportunities.
