Hi

My name is Tammy. I am hoping to raise funds to help my daughter who is a disabled adult, myself, and our dogs get to a safe place to live and get a new dog bus so we can continue doing what we love which is helping people and their dogs stay together successfully.

Both my daughter and myself have been through years of trauma and extensive loss both physical and mental and we now have an opportunity to have our own safe place to live that will allow us to have our dogs and work on healing and eventually get back into German Shepherd Rescue/Herding Breed Rescue work and rehabilitation along with helping people have peace of mind by caring for their fur kids when they are away.

My daughters life came to a screeching halt when I ended up rushing her to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well and ended up staying in the hospital for a really long time because it was discovered that she was in heart failure and a stroke risk because she was working tirelessly trying to pay her bills and survive to the point, she ended up really sick from it. While in the hospital, she ended up having 3 strokes and congestive heart failure and has been left with cortical blindness which is going to take time to improve.

Thankfully my beautiful girl due to the assistance of her loyal german shepherd, a great team of specialists, mental support from a few humans that are very close to us and me giving up working full time.

My daughter is currently trying to get her Social Security benefits approved but is without income to pay her bills in the meantime and I am just now trying to get back to work full time but I have to ease my way in because I am my daughters care taker as well.

Unfortunately prior to all of my daughters health issues, there was many more years of trauma and loss including my daughter losing her father when she was 11 and then years later, having to return home to a place that we all literally built with blood sweat and tears to finding the only person I really was able to call dad and a grandfather to my daughter, passed away due to a horrible suicide.

After the suicide not that life was not struggle enough already, we ended up losing our home because we trusted the wrong person with finances and it has been an uphill battle ever since. That eventually led to us having to make a desperation move and rent rooms from someone who at that time we thought was a safe person to rent from but as it turns out, is not so we must leave and have a really great opportunity for another place of our own.

In addition, I was born into a very abusive and unhealthy lifestyle so coping skills has been a weakness to say the least but here I am trying to press forward through all things negative and get to a better place for my daughters sake as well as our dogs sake and so we can do what we love for others because that helps us stay motivated to continue working on ourselves and our own healing.

There is not enough room here to go over everything we have been through nor would we expect anyone to take the time necessary to comb through the details but in short, we truly are working on healing, therapy and moving forward to a healthier cleaner life and are just in need of some financial support and understanding at this current time so we can get there.

Our wish at this time is to get through the financial hardship so I can continue working on my own therapy to help me not make the same mistakes again so I can set my daughter and myself up to be successful and totally independent financially as neither of us have ever been people who want to rely on others to pay our way.

We have never asked for this kind of help before so this is very foreign to us.

Any donations would be deeply appreciated and strictly used to help us get into our place and do the work needed there and also used for getting a new van to help with transport of dogs for my work and my daughter to her appts.
