Build a Tree-Free Tiny Home for Pat Rasmussen

Tree-Free Tiny Home by forest defender Pat Rasmussen
Homes are expensive! And they have a huge impact on our planet and our loved ones' health. Help build the world's first Tree-Free, Carbon Negative Tiny Home to provide healthy affordable housing for low-income folks like forest defender Pat Rasmussen. Pat is a lifelong environmentalist whose dream is to build an eco-groovy mobile tiny home she (and others like her) can afford on a tiny social security income. She also wants to change the world by building a home with only bamboo lumber and hemp insulation -- saving trees, sinking carbon and creating a healthy environment at the same time.

Tax Deductible donations to the project go to Thurston Climate Action Team, with 100% of your donation going directly to build Pat's tiny home. Please give and follow Friends of Pat Rasmussen on Facebook.

If you don't know Pat, she has planted thousands of fruit and nut trees around Thurston County (edible forest gardens). She helped save millions of acres of forest in Chile and Russia as coordinator of the World Temperate Forest Council. She has been a "mother" of regenerative agriculture, crusading and leading projects that she believes will save the planet through carbon sequestration. She helped legalize tiny homes in her home communityShe is a revered elder in many communities. She is now in the hospital from a health crisis caused by living in poor housing this winter. Let's honor Pat, and help her show us what is possible!
