3,800 tree saplings are being delivered from Indiana in solidarity with Just Transition efforts in Vermont, primarily for PoC-led land and justice projects, and some very awesome regenerative educational opportunities. The effort is a collaboration between the Upper Valley Resiliency Hub and the Vermont Land Alliance.
We need to raise $3,000 for saplings and supplies to heel them in!
Providing these 3,800 saplings to PoC-led land and justice projects and regenerative agriculture education programs will further efforts for a Just Transition here in Vermont.
The Upper Valley Resiliency Hub is a collaboration between Regeneration Corps, Building A Local Economy, Change the World Kids, and UVFOLCC (Upper Valley Farmers Organizers and Landworkers of Color Collective),
The Vermont Land Alliance is a multiracial network of friends and justice-driven land projects, working on sharing land with each other and with people fleeing the climate crisis. These friends include Kunsi Keya Temacoce, Susu CommUNITY Farm, Center for Grassroots Organizing, Circle Mountain Farm, Crystal Ledge Farm, Wheelock Mountain Farm and others, depending on the season.
