Storm Damage Home Repair for Nick Ferrari

Hello Friends and Family!

The storm on Wednesday really hit us hard in East Austin. Several trees on our block were damaged or destroyed, and two large ones in my yard came down. The massive sycamore broke in half and crashed into my Uncle Nick's house next door, causing serious damage to the structural framing.

We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of repairing Nick’s home and removing the dangerous remains of the trees. The job will involve taking off a large section of Nick's roof to access and replace the beams and rafters that were affected. Unfortunately, the insurance deductible is nearly as high as the total cost of repairs, and it doesn’t cover the removal of the trees at all. This means most of the cost is falling directly on Nick and myself. Any support you're able to give would really help.
