Treatment Suit Fundraiser

Hi my name is Daniel Fraser. Just over a year ago I was diagnosed with a rare condition called Friedreich's Ataxia. This diagnosis was devastating. Its extremely serious and life limiting. It was one of the worst pieces of news a person could ever get. At the age of 35 being told you might need to use a wheelchair soon was such a shock. At the moment this condition is affecting my speech, balance, co-ordination, walking and nearly everything I do in my day to day life. This in turn is having a massive impact on my wife and two young children as well. I'm unable to help do a lot of things for the children and things that most people take for granted like carrying your own children I am unable to do. Its progressive and at the time I was told there was no treatment or cure. Recently I came across a treatment which could help. Its called the Mollii Suit. I was able to try the suit and it seems to work very well. The problem is it isn't available on the NHS. The reason its important to me to raise this money is because this treatment could help my condition. It could help me walk for longer and better and hopefully even extend my life. My dream would be to be able to go skateboarding with my children and this suit could help make that possible.
