Treatment for Sandra Fregozo

Hi my name is Allison, I am forming this fundraiser for my cousin Sandra who has a rare chronic disease. She’s 34 years old and is a mother of a beautiful 6 year old boy. She has been struggling for the past five years with her health. This is a little bit of her story that she wrote for her family and friends. Hopefully her story will touch your heart and give a little to help her. She needs tests, lab works, and PET scans in Tecate, Mexico and unfortunately don’t accept insurance for it. My family and I formed this fundraiser to help overcome these obstacles in her life. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

“Dear Facebook friends and family members. There’s something I wanted to talk to you guys about but I haven’t been able to as my life has been recently very tough and I couldn’t find a time and space to write to you. I’m here because I wanted to let you all know that I’ve been struggling for the last 5 years with multiple chronic conditions that are disabling me and keeping me from being able to live a normal life. ( pots, dumping syndrome, reactive hypoglycemia, mast cell activation syndrome, vision problems, hyper mobility, dizziness, heart problems, weakness, low blood pressure , fainting, blacking out and worst of all severe chronic fatigue. Some of you know I had a full blown career waiting for me in the film industry, even getting job offers to work for Lucas films and Disney. And I was getting there. But one random day my whole life changed and till this moment I have no idea what is going on and why. The conditions I’m experiencing are rare and not many doctors understand it. It’s so hard to get the help because how can they help when they don’t know what’s happening to me. I found out that I have no hormones in my body and that my bones are deteriorating and I have malnourishment, I’m not absorbing any of the food that I eat at all. And that my pancreas and my adrenal glands aren’t working to produce the proper hormones. My body is of 75-99 year old.”
