Hi my name is Mary and I am fundraising for my treatment for my eyes.

I was diagnosed with Retina Aneurism its a swelling on a blood vessel of retina and it is bleeding inside.

normally, it is covered by OHIP (ontario health insurance plan) but in this case, my treatment is a laser to stop it.

but laser costs $700 to $2400 dollars. If left untreated It will lead to Vision loss including blindness.

in relation to my condition, my blood pressure is also 135/97 It is considered High (Stage 1) of Hypertension/High blood pressure.

and 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Thalassemia. It is a borderline of Anemia

Thalassemia is "a heterogeneous group of blood disorders affecting the hemoglobin genes and resulting in ineffective erythropoiesis. The decreased production of hemoglobin results in anemia in early age and frequent blood transfusions are required to keep up the hemoglobin levels."

and now, doctor said all my blood work is Abnormal.

I have results of it, and turns out I am now Anemic.

I dont know the step yet for this if i need blood infusions or not, I am still under diagnosis to see what to do.

and I am Diabetic now as well. that would cost me Insulins and diabetes insulins could take $30-$200 per month.

I never expected to have these illness i got. my intention was to only get a prescription glasses from an optometrist one day and turns out I got more than just that.

I honestly dont even wanna do this and just let it be but then, closer friends and family told me to fight for it.

and here I am trying.

the funds are way too much from the days I have to call in sick because I have to see a specialist.

I would appreciate a dime, cent, anything to help me get at least the Laser..

(and the cancer, I would be also helping my mom from the donations I would get.

My mom is fighting for a cancer right now as well.)

It worries and stresses me every single day.

this only started 2 weeks ago.
