Treatment for our lovely friend Angela

Our lovely friend Angela needs help to fund her immunotherapy treatment for ovarian and endometrial cancer. The amazing medical team at The Northern Cancer Institute at the Royal North Shore Hospital believes that the cutting edge immunotherapy treatment is the best chance for our girl.
For all those who have ever met our beautiful friend you will know she has an incredible loving and strong spirit. At 48 she has a lot of living and loving yet to do. Angela is an incredibly independent free and giving soul but on this journey it's her time to receive the help she so readily gives to many others.
Due to significant complications arising from this fast growing cancer and her surgery, Immunotherapy is her only option at the moment. However, unfortunately treatment for this particular combination of cancers is not covered under the Governments Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). The cost of this treatment is $9600 every 3 weeks possibly for the next 12 months. And while we are hoping that she might be eligible for some government subsidy which will bring the treatment cost down to $6500 every cycle it is still going to be a frighteningly expensive battle.
Any help for Angela - no matter how small - would be so appreciated. We understand that asking for money is uncomfortable but on behalf of Angela we have to try.
Since hearing about her diagnosis and the incredible struggle she is facing her friends have spent a lot of time reflecting on the amazing, wonderful, authentic woman she is. Angela is a healing force in this world and has so often put others ahead of herself. This is our time to be there for her.
