This is the story of a guy by the name of Nick Cruciani. He’s a volunteer firefighter for Black Rock fire company in Montgomery County, Pa. Two weeks ago he went on to continue his academic career at Penn State’s Altoona campus. Three days ago, Nick was suddenly rushed to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and was diagnosed with Leukemia. He’s already had two transfusions, with more likely on the way. This fund is to ensure that Nick’s expenses are covered so his parents only have to worry about supporting him.
