I write this with a heavy heart, a beloved canine member of our dear friends' family, Opie, is fighting cancer. Despite a successful surgery to remove the tumors , the tumors have returned, casting a shadow over his health.

Opie's family has already endured the emotional strain of a significant surgery to remove the tumors. Now, they stand at a crossroads, faced with the daunting cost of monthly medication exceeding $500. This medication offers a glimmer of hope, a chance for Opie to continue being the incredible big brother he is to their two precious daughters.

In the midst of this hardship, Josh and Linda recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their lives, expanding their family's joy but also multiplying their responsibilities. Opie, the companion who has been there for every milestone, now needs our help.

Opie isn't just a dog; he's a symbol of the best in pitbulls—sweet, loving, and devoted. For over two years, Opie waited patiently at the incredible Monmouth County SPCA. One day fate brought Josh and Linda to him, and 7 years later the rest is history.
