Leslie Lorrimer Junior was first presented to the Owen King European Union Hospital "OKEU" in Castries Saint Lucia, with a complaint of six days history of fever associated with musle and joint pain (myalgia & althralgia). He then became ill with vomiting after two days of consuming solids and liquids with fever. Due to vomiting he experienced rapid weightloss and gum bleed within his first week of admission at OKEU Hospital. After a series of blood work and observations he was diagnosed with 1. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia 2. Sever anemia and thrombocytopenia 3.hyperbilirubinemia 4. Acute hemalysis vs hepatic congestion 5. High-risk of tumorlysis syndrome.
We the parents Leslie Lorrimer and Shauville Charles where advised to sick medical attention in Barbados or Martinique and the cost are beyond our control, hense the reason why we the family and friends are now seeking assistance in raising a total of sixteen thousand Euros dollars "$16,000€ in order to give this precious little boy the medical treatment he deserves to get back to his normal day to day life. No parent should have to worry about losing a child and no child should have to worry about not being able to be around loved ones.
Leslie Jr is only eight (8) years old, and he is a tenacious, vibrant, joyous, loving and caring individual. This young individual attends the Bexon Primary School and loves playing outdoor games and enjoys playing cards especially 'UNO'.
