Hello everyone, as many may already know my mom’s partner, Bret has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. He will undergoing 6 months of chemo and treatment at the Johnny Carson Cancer Center.

Bret and Robin have been together for 9 years. Over those years, Bret has taken on the title, “Papa Bret” by his bonus kids and grandkids who adore him!

Together Robin and Bret bought a home in Neligh, Nebraska 5 years ago. A couple years after buying their home, Bret started working as the Head Maintenance for the Neligh Oakdale School District.

But unfortunately, at this time, the school district does not provide short term disability for non-teaching staff. And due to some complications, Bret has already had to use all his PTO and vacation time for his recent hospital stays.

If anyone knows Robin, they know how dedicated and hard working she is. She works 3 jobs and loves spending time with her family.

At this time, we are asking for monetary assistance for Bret and Robin to help ease the stress of bills, travel and medical expenses while Bret is undergoing treatment.
