Treating thyroid cancer

Hi,

My name is Alena Gracheva, and I live in Canada. Unfortunately, this year I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of thyroid cancer and lost my job simultaneously. I am on a work visa, and if you lose your job, you are no longer eligible for medical insurance. So, I am unemployed, without insurance, and dealing with metastatic cancer that is slowly spreading to my lungs.

I have reached out to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ministry of Health, and IRCC, but none of them have been able to help me. I’m unable to find a job because I need surgery and radiotherapy, and I am not an ideal candidate for employment. Moreover, a part-time job does not qualify me for insurance.

I’m not entirely sure how this service works, but if you can offer assistance or know someone who can, please do not turn away. I cannot return to my home country because I have not lived there for years. I lack medical insurance there, resources are limited, and wait times for doctors are long.

My only chance is Dr. Richard Payne in Montreal, as I need him to perform surgery and treatment. I am only 30 years old. Please, if you can help or direct me to someone who can, I would be immensely grateful.
