Treasure’s Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Amy Cobb and I’ve set up this go fund me account to help raise money for one very special little

horse!

“Treasure” or Tessa as we call her, is the most adorable little paint that does it all! She loves to jump and is full of sass and personality and always keeps up laughing. She’s one of those very special horses that isn’t always easy but she is going to take care of you while teaching her riders valuable lessons.

Treasure belongs to an amazing family who has graciously shared her with a program that loves her dearly. She was recently the star of an IHSA horse show where she carried many riders to excellent finishes.

On Monday, November 19th, following some much needed time off from a busy few months of lessons, she was showing some mild colic symptoms and was immediately brought into the clinic. Since being there she has been kept comfortable but she is very sick with a case of colitis. It is unclear at this point what exactly caused her condition. But what we do know is that she is in the very best care! But with that care comes the expensive costs associated with life saving treatments.

We have a few people already lined up to help but any extra support would be so helpful to this family! Please, if you have even just a few extra dollars it could make the difference in life saving care for our beloved Tessa.

*** UPDATE ***

Treasure has made excellent progress! She is steadily improving and shows signs of making a full recovery. She isn’t out of the woods yet as there are other complications that could arise but she’s on the right track!

So far her bill has just over $7,000 so please keep sharing her story! Every little bit counts.
