Hi there everyone! My name is Hayley and I’m a big animal lover. I’m involved in animal rescue and try to help as many animals as I can. I spotted Treacle alongside Ronny his brother and Butternut in my local village back in May 2023 when I was out on a dog walk. Treacle had such dreamy eyes he drew me in I had to rescue him and his friends!! Treacle was such an easygoing loving kitten! In January 2024 Treacle’s health deteriorated and we found out he had tested positive to FELV. Treacle had a bad lung infection and needed surgery to remove a liquid abscess. The surgery was performed on the 5th of March and he bounced back pretty quickly ! From then on he has really loved life with his good buddy Magness enjoying hours playing in their super catio up until a month ago when he started limping. Tuesday he was seen by a specialist and he is pretty sure Treacle has a dislocated knee (Treacle has no luck!) but he wants to make sure so he will see him again without pain meds on Tuesday the 26th, as it could also be an ASL injury.

the surgeries vary in price the dislocated knee surgery would be 1200€ and the ASL surgery would be 1800€. Treacle is the reason I really got into cat rescue he has helped save many cats that have now been adopted but he now needs you! Can you help us? If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Vi a Treacle junto a su hermano Ronny y a Butternut en mi pueblo en Mayo de 2023, cuando salí a pasear mis perros ¡Treacle tenía unos ojos tan dulces que me atrajo tanto que tuve que rescatarlo y a sus amigos! ¡Treacle era un gatito tan tranquilo y cariñoso! En Enero de 2024, la salud de Treacle se deterioró y descubrimos que había dado positivo a leucemia felina (FELV). Treacle tuvo una infección pulmonar grave y necesitó cirugía para drenar un absceso líquido. La cirugía se realizó el 5 de marzo y se recuperó bastante rápido. Desde entonces, ha disfrutado mucho de la vida con su buen amigo Magness, disfrutando horas jugando en su súper catio hasta hace un mes, cuando empezó a cojear. El martes lo vio un especialista y está bastante seguro de que Treacle tiene una rodilla dislocada pero quiere asegurarse de volver a verlo sin analgésicos el Martes 26, ya que también podría ser una lesión de ligamento cruzado anterior (ASL). Las cirugías varían en precio: la de rodilla dislocada cuesta 1200 € y la de ligamento cruzado anterior, 1800 €. Treacle es la razón por la que me metí en el rescate de gatos.
