Trazon Jimerson

Story

Trazon was in remission for 2 years from 2 Auto Immune Disorders, which he was diagnosed from the age of 11 years of age. He recently got very ill from a Strep infection and could barely walk and was in severe pain. He was able to get an emergency visit with his new adult Rhumatoligist today, had to get Xrays, and additional blood work. He will have to go back on Auto Immune Suppression again, which is devastating in itself since he was in remission for 2 years. I think we often take for granted how a simple infection or COVID 19 can send these individuals into pain and weaken their immune system. He has been out of work to try to get better, was released to go back, and got very sick again with his auto immune disorders. He is trying to heal before he starts his Sophmore year at UNM for Enginneering. He is so Selfless, thus getting the Sandia Selfless Senior award for 2019.
