Hi, my name is Jaci and I have created this fundraiser for my sister and her husband in a time of an unexpected medical emergency. They were expecting their third baby this fall and Jennifer`s water broke at 20 weeks and 6 days putting her on bedrest long term. During this time, her and her unborn son beat all statistics and odd the doctors said they wouldn`t. Nearly three weeks later, her placenta abrupted leading to an emergency c section on June 18th, 2023. Baby Monte arrived at 23 weeks and 3 days weighing 1 pound 1.3 oz and 9.5 inches long. He has already proven to be one strong little guy and continues to fight daily. He will be in the NICU until his due date of October 12th, 2023 at minimum.

Many friends and family have asked what they can do to help in such an unexpected situation and something no parent could ever fully prepare. Therefore, I have started this fundraiser as a way to help them in any way possible during Monte`s extended NICU stay and any future medical expenses that may arise due to his early arrival.
