As many may know my cousin/big brother was diagnosed with lupus SLE and lupus nephritis  in September of 2010. For more then 10yrs my family and I have watched Travis’s health slowly deteriorate along with his financial well-being. Not being eligible for Medicaid, he has also had to deal with the financial burden of paying out of pocket for chemo treatments, Medications etc. I personally have witness the highs and lows of this aggressive disease. There are days where flares are so bad that it hurts to have anything touch him. Even the shirt on his back. For about 3yrs Travis has been in the final stage of kidney failure. By the grace of God we have gotten the approval for a kidney transplant but need $7,000 up front. To know him is to love him. He would give his last to anyone in need and expect nothing in return. His pride won’t let him so my family and I are asking for all the help we can get by Jan.11. Anything would do and If you can’t just send some prayers his way. Thank you!
