On Wednesday January 20, 2016, Travis suffered a life threatening accident. He was immediately taken to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment. Thankfully the medical staff was able to stabilize Travis and get the bleeding under control. As a result to his accident Travis shattered his tibia (shin) in addition to two large wounds. During surgery the doctor was able to fix his leg with the help of screws and metal plates. Travis' left leg is bound and has a brace from the middle of his calf to the top of his thy. Upon release from the hospital, Travis will need constant care for the first few weeks followed by months of physical therapy. 

    It is truly a miracle that considering the circumstances Travis survived. Our family feels so blessed that with time Travis will recover fully. Anyone who knows Travis has seen his generosity and loyalty to those close to him. When ever anyone needs anything Travis is there for them. Truck problems, flat tire, oil changes, moving, and even rides up to Metaline; Travis is the first guy to help. Travis needs our help now. Please show your support in this time of need.

    We are asking for donations to help cover the medial costs from his hospital stay, surgery and his recovery period. Travis does not have medical insurance no does he receive any pay while he is out of work. The doctor has ordered that Travis not use his leg for 3 months. Travis is an independent contractor and works for himself. When Travis is not working he is not making any money. The added stress of medical expenses,  a complete loss of income, addition to the stress of recovery  have created unbearable worry for Travis and Miranda.
