Travis was in an ATV vs. vehicle accident 10 years ago. During heart surgery he had oxygen deprivation to his lower extremeties leaving him paralyzed. If you know Travis, this has never held him back from doing anything he puts his mind to! He is an amazing father, husband, friend and coworker. He has been fighting with insurance for over 2 years to get some equipement that would change his life. They are called C- leg braces. Travis was able to wear them for 45 minutes 2 years ago and was able to walk up and down ramps with appropriate gate, sit  in a chair normally and move easier than he has in 10 years. These braces will also help him lessen the wear and tear on his arms, wrists, hips and rest of body from the way he currently walks and the assistive devices he uses. After 2 years of court, Vocational Rehab and applying for research grants we have come to this. We are asking for help to get Travis these braces so we can have the best possible quality of life he deserves! We are so thankful to everyone who has been apart of this journey with Travis and his family over the last couple years, through the countless surgeries, falls, Pnemonia and just good/ bad days. We are so blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people! This money will pay for the actual leg braces for both of his legs and the specialized therapy he will need to learn how to walk with these amazing devices.
