Travis's Top Surgery

Hello, my name is Travis Burns. I am starting this GoFundMe in attempts to raise money for top surgery. I am a trans man who has been on hormones for over two years now. I’m beyond thankful to have the opportunity to live my truth but I’m not quite there yet. My body dysphoria due to my chest holds me back from being able to embrace myself fully. This surgery will allow me to be able to live authentically and finally feel at home in my body. Currently I bind my chest daily due to the discomfort my chest gives me. Binding can cause physical damage to my body over countless years of doing so. The sooner I am able to access surgery the better my overall health can be. Asking for help from others is not something easy for me to do especially with the current state of the world. Unfortunately though, the cost of surgery makes it inaccessible to me without help. All donations will go directly toward my medical bills as well as cover other costs of living during my recovery.
