Travis 'Pee Wee' Young's Wrongful Arrest

Donation protected
We all know Travis ‘Pee Wee’ Young (I bet a lot of you didn’t know his real name was Travis). He has dedicated his life to working and helping all of the horsemen on our racing circuit. Whether it's in the morning as an excellent, all-around stable hand for Brad Cox, Sam David, and Frank Leggio or putting in tireless hours doing laundry and saddling horses at Fairgrounds in New Orleans, Evangeline Downs in Lafayette, and Indiana Grand. His jobs are always thankless ones because he does the things that no one thinks about, but are absolutely necessary around the barns and in the jockeys quarters to keep our industry going.

He needs your help!

Travis was recently pulled over by a police officer while commuting from Opelousas, Louisiana to Indianapolis. He was verbally and physically assaulted by two police officers including having his entire car stripped of his belongings in search of drugs and money. He was drug out of the police car and thrown to the ground in a holding cell and treated like a piece of dirt on the floor. No human needs to be treated like this; and, as we all know, certainly not Pee Wee as he has never hurt or threatened a person in his life. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI, Wreckless Driving, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. He spent 3 nights in jail as I was not made aware of his situation until then. He was never administered a drug or alcohol test, the arrest was made under complete assumption.

I posted his $2500 bond, but we still need help. I have acquired an attorney and his fees will be $4500. His car was impounded and cost roughly $400 for release. He had to stay in a hotel room for a Night as he was not fit to leave after being released. The lawyer has told me there will be several hundred dollars in court fees even though he is confident Pee Wee will not face trial due to the fact that they never administered a drug or alcohol test. However, we need his help as Desoto County Mississippi is deemed a 'Law and Order County' and no arrest, even a first offense is taken lightly. If convicted on any or all these counts, he could face 6 months jail time.

I know Pee Wee has plenty of friends and supporters out there, so I'm not asking for large amounts. $10, $20, $50 from all of you should more than cover his fees and debt acquired.
