Hard Drive Crash, 15 years of work to be recovered

Hi, my name is Travis, and I need help. Some things in life are losses or injuries that you can see. My problem is not one you can see. My injury, my loss, is one of my heart and soul.

I had 10 years of hard work on a single hard drive. Almost 50 books I wrote, audiobooks I recorded, my life in pictures since 1997, and more. Every book past, present, and future lived on that drive. Books that I've published by still needed to record to audiobooks, books that were partially completed, and pages upon pages of notes for future books.

I am unable to recover the data from the drive on my own, or even locally. It needs to be sent to someone with a clean room who can take it apart to get to the data. This is beyond my means. I work part time due to health issues, and do the best with what I have. I've been trying to break into the book industry for over a decade now. If anyone cares to support in other ways where you get something for what you give, then buy a book and review it.

Any money received will be used for paying to recover the hard drive. Any money beyond my goal and/or the cost of data recovery will be used to publish the books save and put towards cover art, editors, etc.

I will also be saving future data in 3 places: hard drive, external drive, and in the cloud. After the data recovery (which will take the goal amount) I will be getting the tools to do that with anything extra.

I won't die if I don't recover this data, my life is not in danger. But my heart and soul is in danger, because the loss of my life's work is soul crushing. I merely want to share my stories with the world.
