“My name is Travis McDowell. I am 39, a father of 9 kids, 2 grandkids and a supporting husband! I have always been the sole provider for my family and my children, who I had before my marriage. My 5 youngest kid's mother passed away from lupus in 2020, and they have been with my wife and me since the loss. I recently was injured on my job site and have to get surgery on June 16th, 2022, on my shoulder. It will cause me to be physically healing for 6 weeks. I have been unable to work since my injury on March 24th, 2022, and with surgery, I am not sure when I can get back to work! I am behind on my bills, including rent all due to the injury. So I am asking for help to keep a roof over my family's heads! We are facing an eviction and need help with our utilities to keep our lights and phones on so I can communicate with my doctors. Our car is also at risk of being taken and is our only way of transportation to and from my appointments."
