Travis Scopino Cancer Fundraiser

July 26, 2022 was a life-changing day for the Scopino Family. Travis received a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer at the young age of 52. What started out as back pain, turned out to be broken vertebrae due to lesions on his spine, in addition to tumors on his liver, and colon.
Due to the amount of pain Travis was having, his first course of treatment was a spinal fusion. After a successful surgery and two days in the hospital, he came home to recover before heading in for further testing to determine his treatment plan. But on Friday, August 12 he was taken to the hospital and immediately put on a ventilator after suffering from a seizure. After a week of being intubated, he is off the ventilator but struggling to stabilize to begin any treatment.
If you know Travis, you will know he is an incredible husband to his best friend Pam of nearly 26 years, father to Leo (20) and Lilliana (17), son, brother, and dear friend to SO many. The Scopino Family is always giving back to the community from fostering countless dogs with Wonder Paws Rescue to actively serving on the Parkland Soccer board of directors, managing the referee program.
As you can imagine, this news is not only devastating for the Scopino family but has presented a tremendous financial challenge including medical costs associated with this diagnosis and other expenses while Travis is undergoing treatment. Now more than ever, he needs his extensive network to be there for him and his family with both healing prayers and contributions to this call to action on his behalf. Any amount contributed to lessen the financial burden is appreciated beyond words.
We will keep you updated on Travis's fight as more details emerge. Please keep Travis, Pam, Leo, Lilliana, and the entire Scopino family in your prayers.
