Here are some details that can be shared: Travis suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in a road accident, where we suspect he tried to avoid an animal (we often hear it is because of speed but speed was most likely not a factor). He has just started a very long rehabilitation program to relearn how to walk, talk, eat and get him back to functioning on his own. The best option for him is a Paediatric Rehabilitation Centre in Montreal, where we remain with him full time during this process. It has become our temporary home. Thanks again!!! Il vient de commencer un très long programme de réadaptation pour réapprendre à marcher, parler, manger et lui permettre d’être autonome. La meilleure option pour lui est un centre de réadaptation pédiatrique à Montréal, où un parent reste avec lui à temps plein pendant ce processus. C'est devenu leur demeure temporaire.
