On October 23 my nephew Travis Pear was involved in a catastrophic accident that left him with life changing injuries. Travis had an above knee amputation of his left leg and suffered permanent paralysis. It has been a very challenging time for Travis and our entire family. We have watched him while we held our own breath in the last two weeks as he fought so hard to live.

His perseverance and determination has been remarkable but then Travis has always been a fighter… we are amazed his tenacity and his will to live.

Now that we know the extent of Travis’ diagnosis, together as a family we are committed to helping Travis have the best outcome for a full and healthy life.

With Travis’ prognosis comes monumental physical effort and emotional support and as

we navigate the months ahead for Travis’ rehabilitation we recognize that it comes with great expense as well.

We are raising money for Travis to help offset challenges that he will face with personal mobility, care and living arrangements when the time comes. We are also hoping to help raise money for medical travel for his family so that he doesn’t do this alone
