Dear readers, thank you from the bottom of our heart for taking the time to read his story.
As many of you know, and some are learning now, Travis Bevers was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma with an associated Systemic Mastocytosis, a rare bone marrow cancer that at this time their is no current cure for. He was a healthy 37 year old that loved his Family, Dallas Cowboys Football & Crossfit, so the news came as a shock to us all.
He is the husband to a wonderful wife Melissa and a father to 2 beautiful girls, Brittany & Paige. The course of action will be 3 months of chemotherapy, following the chemo he will undergo high dose chemotherapy in the hospital followed by a Bone Marrow Transplant. The Transplant will put him in the Hospital for at least a month and then the road to recovery will begin, which will be a long one. He is the sole provider for this beautiful family and the treatment & recovery is going to keep him out of work for 4 to 6 months. This is a tough burden for anyone to overcome and with him being the sole provider this burden is too much to overcome without help.
Cancer, it sucks, It makes you cherish the small things in life like friends and family and enjoy the simple things. Travis has never been one to ask for help, but now help is needed, any donation can provide financial support to help him through this journey. Any donation is welcome and greatly appreciated, and all donations will be spent on medical bills, living expenses, and every day necessities.
