Support the Baker Family as Travis is in the ICU
Donation protected
As I type, our friend Trav, is in the fight of his life in the Intensive Care Unit at Legacy Salmon Creek. He suffered two significant seizures on June 7, 2019, that revealed other serious concerns in his major organs. He is currently on a ventilator, with pneumonia and sedated most of the time.
We know his medical bills will be extensive as his time in the ICU continues, and he is unable to work and produce significant income. Trav & Jess just had their second son Beaux, who is seven months, breast feeding, and stays with mom most of the time, and their oldest son, Nash, just turned five last Saturday. He had to celebrate his special day without his papa by his side.
Jess wears many hats as a yoga teacher, trainer, mother, caretaker, where she drives all over the Portland area in many different communities of people. Travis and Jessica both work so hard to provide for their boys, but currently both Travis and Jessica are unable to work as they navigate this transition of recovery. The doctors have stated that this will be a marathon recovery for Travis. In the mean time, Jess is navigating taking care of a Travis and maintaining a full life for her children by paying the day-to-day costs of housing, household expenses, child care, and the mounting medical bills.
PLEASE HELP JESS, TRAV, & THE BOYS, they need their community of people more than ever. They have touched so many lives, and shared so many precious moments with nearly everyone who will read this message.
I know they would give any of us their last dime if they thought it would help, so please, give any little bit you can and share this with anyone who can afford an extra buck or two. Everyone showing up in just a small way, can make a huge difference for this family.
As this family embarks on a world of change, please help make their transition a little more comfortable.
