Travis and his family.

This morning Travis was in a severe car accident. By the grace of God he survived. The injuries to his lower body are significant - he has a broken pelvis, hip, femur, both tibias, a traumatic injury to his ankle and many other smaller broken bones. 

The ankle and foot have open wounds that will require skin grafts. He had surgery today to stabilize all the broken bones. 

If his vitals and labs are good all night, they hope to place a rod in his femur and clean the ankle again tomorrow. 

The ankle is of great concern - it has the greatest risk for infection so needs to be cleaned surgically at least every other day. He will need a skin graft before they can fix the ankle. 

Please pray specifically for the ankle to stay free from infection and that they will be able to do the femur surgery tomorrow and on Friday repair the pelvis and hip.

We will keep you updated on future surgeries - there will be many. 

Please pray for Sam and the boys during this difficult time. 

Sam and Travis don’t have day care, they work opposite shifts. So she will not be able to work , they also shared a car which is totaled.
