Hello, I am Travis. My girlfriend Amber and I are looking to raise funds for our dog Gucci/Tooti, who is 4 years old and just went into emergency surgery for a slipped disk in his lower back, which has made him lose all feeling in his legs. He was totally fine on Saturday, 3/29, and went into immediate pain on Sunday, 3/30. Our only option is to have the surgery, put him down, or mask the pain that won’t go away for the rest of his life. Genuinely, anything would help us get through this. UPDATE: APRIL 1ST.

Gucci was rushed to the hospital at 230am due to having respiratory issues. In panic leading up to the surgery for his spine, in the middle of the night he woke up in a panic not realizing where he was. breathing & panting so heavy that it caused him to have an obstruction in his airway which caused him to stop breathing. In addition to the obstruction the catheter broke off into his blatter causing him to have yet another surgery.

UPDATE: APRIL 1ST. 3:55pm.

Gucci went into surgery to remove the broken catheter out of his blatter. He then goes into his final surgery at 5:14pm for his spinal surgery. He was transported back to the ER with his breathing tube, for safety precautions/ to watch his breathing.

APRIL 2nd. Gucci was winged off his oxygen and later that day he was put back onto oxygen for failure to breathe on his own…. The same night we got a call around 7pm stating he needed X-rays and could possible have pneumonia, the results came back positive and he is still on oxygen.

APRIL 3rd. Gucci is now breathing on his own. He still needs anxiety medication to calm his nerves and is doing a bit better. He still can NOT use his back legs and will possibly need a wheelchair.

Today we are awaiting a call from the hospital to see if Gucci is okay to come home! Please keep praying for Tooti/ Gucci and share his story❤️
