UPDATE!! After reaching my goal, thanks to everybody, I did some research and came to realize that purchasing the chair through a company in the United States was much smarter. Easier to get parts and service if I needed to. Unfortunately that also means it's more expensive, taxes and all. So I am keeping up my page longer to see if I can get any more help, it's just too big of a difference for me to afford on my own. Thanks for everything I appreciate it.

Hi friends and family!! As you all know I'm a pretty independent woman and quite the traveler, not much holds me back. I love to travel but it can be challenging at times, waiting hours for accessible taxis, airplanes damaging my chair. It is also challenging just to go to others peoples houses to visit. Then I found this AMAZING wheelchair! It's like a manual chair that folds and is light weight but it is also power operated, which means I can be fully mobile. This chair would open so many more doors for me and just add to my independence. Unfortunately it is not covered by insurance so I decided to go this route to see if I could get some help. The total cost includes the chair and extra accessories. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and any extra money will go to maintaining my chair and making it possible to use in my car as well,  which would be even more helpful :)
