My name is Adani Clarke and I am 19 years old. I am a first-year international student studying at Wellesley College and originally from St. Catherine, Jamaica. Chess is something that I have always been passionate about and enjoy playing. I have been playing the sport for the past 11 years and have represented my country internationally on numerous occasions. This summer I have two major upcoming tournaments located in Honduras and the Dominican Republic. I need to cover travel expenses, food and accommodation, as well as the registration fee. Normally, I would win the national tournaments held in Jamaica and they would aid in covering my finances. Since I am studying in the United States and I'm unable to play in these tournaments, I won't be the official representative for Jamaica this year. For this reason, I will have to cover the cost on my own. The expected cost for both trips is around $3,000USD and will be used to aid my participation. Thank you for your support!
