Travel & Entertainment Funds for Mary Marino

Mary Marino was the House Cook (and now House Mother) for the Zeta Phi chapter of Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity at Clarkson University for 35 years. Since her retirement, she has been extremely involved in the fraternity and treats every single brother, past and present, as her own grandson. For nearly 40 years, she has remembered almost every single brothers name that has come through our house, and loves each and everyone of us, just as we love her.On November 29th, Mary was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 76. After many, many months of battling, Mary has continued to stay strong, and has remained involved in the fraternity as much as possible. Every week, Mary endures 3 painful dialysis treatments at the local hospital in Ogdensburg, New York. If you weren’t aware, this constant treatment is extremely taxing on the body, mind, and soul. Yet, she still manages to show unconditional love towards all of us, and will remain to do so for the foreseeable future. She is truly an unbelievable woman, and has impacted more than 500+ young men over the years.In an attempt to thank her for all she has done for us, the Zeta Phi chapter of Alpha Chi Rho would like to raise some money for Mary and her family to enjoy themselves! Whether that be through a vacation or some sort of entertainment. She has exhibited nothing but love and extremely hard work for the house for many years.
